PROFESSIONAL OVERVIEW
As a Financial Advisor at Axios Financial Group, Christopher Chochon specializes in retirement planning and helping individuals and families translate their long-term goals into clear, actionable strategies. His client service philosophy centers on education, transparency, and jargon-free communication so clients always understand the “why” behind every recommendation. Because no two client situations are ever the same, Chris enjoys digging into each person’s unique story and challenges to build customized plans designed to adapt as life changes.
BACKGROUND & FOUNDATION
Chris’s strong financial and analytical foundation is rooted in his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Drury University, where he studied from August 2018 to May 2023. Before moving fully into wealth advisory, his professional journey included roles as a staff auditor at KPM CPAs & Advisors, a tax intern at Abacus CPAs, and a financial representative at Mutual of Omaha. He holds both his Series 65 license and a Missouri Life and Health Insurance License, blending technical tax and auditing expertise with comprehensive wealth management.
AXIOS FINANCIAL GROUP
Chris was drawn to the insurance industry by the core belief that wealth accumulation means little if it is not thoroughly protected against life’s uncertainties, focusing on safeguarding financial futures rather than just growing them. He chose to build his career at Axios Financial Group because of the strength and collaborative support of the team behind him, ensuring he has the resources to guide clients through even the most complex situations.
PERSONAL LIFE
Having lived across the Unites States (in all four time zones,) Chris brings a broad perspective to his everyday life. When he isn’t in the office, he loves spending quality time with his wife, Amy, and their dog, Beau.
