As a nationally recognized financial services leader, Founder and Owner Ashton Glaser is building Axios Financial Group into a platform that integrates advisor development, advanced planning capabilities, and a high-class financial planning experience. With a career defined by building high-performing teams, developing elite advisor talent, and delivering comprehensive financial strategies, Ashton brings a rare combination of field leadership experience and hands-on planning expertise to every engagement.
BACKGROUND & FOUNDATION
A native of Springdale, Arkansas, Ashton’s character was forged through competitive athletics. As one of the state’s top quarterback prospects, he played collegiate football at the University of Missouri during the final three years of the Big 12 era before completing his career at Missouri State University in Springfield — where he also met his wife, Janet. The discipline, accountability, competitive drive, and team-first mindset he developed on the field remain central to how he leads and serves today.
INDUSTRY LEADERSHIP
Prior to founding Axios Financial Group, Ashton spent almost 8 years with Mutual of Omaha, ultimately rising to one of the company’s most senior field leadership roles: Regional Managing Director — a title held by only six individuals nationwide. In that capacity, he oversaw advisor development, recruiting, growth strategy, and performance initiatives across a six-state territory spanning Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Illinois, and Texas.
Throughout his tenure, Ashton earned a reputation for identifying and cultivating top talent, building cultures of accountability and excellence, and driving sustained production growth — all while maintaining a relationship-first leadership philosophy.
PERSONAL PRACTICE & COMMUNITY
Alongside his leadership career, Ashton has built a highly successful personal practice specializing in advanced life insurance planning, retirement strategies, wealth accumulation, and business-owner solutions. He is particularly passionate about helping high-income professionals, entrepreneurs, and families build strategies that generate lasting financial independence and meaningful generational impact.
Beyond business, Ashton is deeply committed to his faith, his family, and his community. He and Janet are raising their two children — Collins (8) and Crue (6) — in Springfield, where much of his personal time is spent coaching and cheering them on in basketball, soccer, golf, and tennis.
Ashton serves as President of Shore-UP, a nonprofit supporting families affected by cancer.
